Redmi Note 12 Series finally goes global

We have been waiting for a long time for the international release of the much-anticipated Redmi Note 12 Series, and now we’ve got to experience it

China and India both sell smartphones from the Redmi Note 12 series. We also featured one on our YouTube channel, take note. The brand is currently preparing to introduce the Note 12 family to more markets.

The tweet that follows confirms that the global launch will take place on March 23 at 23:00 (GMT +8), or 4:00 PM in the Philippines.

The Redmi Note 12 series will include the following devices, according to reports: the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

It also appears that the Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi Note 12S, which haven’t yet been released in any market, may be available in the global market.

The Redmi Note 12S is anticipated to look similar to the Redmi Note 11S from the previous year, and it’s possible that the new model will have the same specifications as the outgoing model.

The Note 12S, however, might support 67W fast charging in place of 33W charging.

In the international market, the Redmi Note 12 4G is most likely to be marketed as the “Redmi Note 12”. It is anticipated to make its debut as the first smartphone to run Snapdragon 685.

Other features include a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 13-megapixel front camera, 50-megapixel triple rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 as its operating system.

The same devices that are offered in China and India will be the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G when they hit the international market.

India-released Redmi Note 12 5G

The Pro models come with the Dimensity 1080 chipset, while the Note 12 5G has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset.

Redmi is rumored to be developing additional phones, including the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ for various markets. Whether these products will also be unveiled on March 23 is unknown.
