A new Redmi Note 12 has been spotted, and it is likely to be the Pro Extreme Edition with Dimensity 1080 SoC
A JD listing that says a Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme may be coming confirms the name of the Redmi Note 12 series. Notably, the Redmi Note 12 line will soon arrive in China.
The Note 12 series is also said to include a number of devices. While waiting for the lineup to be announced, several online rumors have started to circulate.
For instance, renowned leaker Digital Chat Station believes that the Dimensity 1080 SoC would make its debut in the Redmi Note 12. For those who don’t know, the chipset will probably become official in Q4 2022. Sahil Karoul, a tech YouTuber, projected in 2018 that the Note 12 series would launch in China in Q2 2022.
Redmi may release three smartphones as part of the Note 12 line. All three of these phones, namely the base Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, may be released in international regions. The Note 12 series, according to certain reports, won’t be available until 2023. Xiaomi has not yet disclosed its intentions to introduce the Note 12 series of smartphones.
A fourth smartphone, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition, may also be added to the range. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition has been spotted on JD.com in China, despite no official confirmation.
The next Note 12 series smartphones will enable 5G connectivity, according to the JD listing. Additionally, the listing offers a sneak peek at the names of the Redmi Note 12 series devices.
Next month, the Note 12 series is most likely to become official in China. A premium model in the future lineup will be the Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition. Additionally, the gadget might debut as the Note 12 Pro Ultra.
Unfortunately, the listing withholds any important information about the future devices’ specifications. However, recent revelations about the Redmi Note 12 series have provided some important details.
It is also important to note that all models are priced at RMB 9999 on JD.com. These prices are likely placeholders, according to a report by 91mobiles.
The 3C certification website in China has already given the Redmi Note 12 series their blessing. The gadgets have the model codes 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC. Additionally, according to the description, one of the phones would offer 210W rapid charging.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ might be this. The regular model, however, might enable 67W charging. On the other hand, the Pro version might support 120W charging.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 12’s rear could have a 50MP main sensor. The Note series will be a “small flagship for performance,” according to Redmi Product Manager Lu Weibing.
