Xiaomi has done it again with yet another new addition to the Note 12 series: Redmi Note 12R Pro. This new budget phone has some quite impressive specs including the 12GB RAM and an OLED display
In addition to its initial specifications, the company also delighted fans with a sneak peek at the sleek design and color options of the upcoming Redmi Note 12R Pro. The recently unveiled image showcases the rear side of the smartphone, featuring a rectangular camera island that houses not one, but two cameras along with an LED flash.
Specs
The phone will boast up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, alongside an OLED panel that’s likely to feature a 120Hz refresh rate. While the brand hasn’t explicitly mentioned 5G capabilities, the promotional poster makes it clear that the Redmi Note 12R Pro will support 5G.
The poster also revealed that the phone will be available in Gold, White, and Black color options, and the power button will likely double as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The rectangular camera island on the back of the phone will house a 48MP primary rear camera, with an 8MP ultra-wide angle unit possibly serving as the secondary camera.
This device is expected to cost around CNY 1,500 (roughly Php 12,283) in China and it will launch on April 29.
