REDMI has officially confirmed the global launch of the Note 17 Pro Max 5G, with a 10,000mAh battery, 100W charging, 1.5K AMOLED display, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The phone will be unveiled on August 27.

10,000mAh battery with 100W charging
The biggest upgrade is the 10,000mAh battery, paired with 100W wired fast charging.
The large cell gives the Pro Max one of the biggest battery capacities in its segment, while 100W charging helps reduce the time needed to refill it.
1.5K AMOLED display
The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The combination targets users who want a large, high-resolution screen for gaming, video, and everyday use.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5
The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and comes with up to 12GB of RAM.
The phone will also support memory expansion, bringing the available memory to up to 24GB when virtual RAM is included.
50MP camera
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.5 aperture and 26mm equivalent focal length.
REDMI is also adding AI portrait processing for improved edge detection, texture detail, and skin tones in low-light conditions.
The secondary rear camera has not yet been fully detailed.
IP69K protection and 3-meter drop resistance
Durability is another major focus. The Note 17 Pro Max carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
It also has certification for drops of up to 3 meters onto hard surfaces, according to REDMI’s launch information.
Photochromic design
The rear panel uses a photochromic Cloud Blush finish that changes color when exposed to sunlight or UV light.
The back also features an ultra-soft-touch finish.

The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G launches globally on August 27.
