REDMI‘s next-generation Note series is once again making headlines ahead of its expected launch in China next month. A fresh leak has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming REDMI Note 17 lineup, which is expected to include the REDMI Note 17, REDMI Note 17 Pro, and REDMI Note 17 Pro Max.
The latest information comes from tipster Experience More, who has shared new details about all three devices, including the standard model that was missing from previous leaks.
REDMI Note 17
According to the leak, the standard REDMI Note 17 will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Powering the device will reportedly be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.
While the battery capacity remains unknown, the phone is tipped to support 67W fast charging. It is also expected to feature a 50MP main rear camera and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
REDMI Note 17 Pro
The REDMI Note 17 Pro is said to sport a flat 1.5K display, although its exact screen size has yet to be revealed.
Under the hood, the smartphone is rumored to debut with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. One of its biggest highlights could be its massive 9,000mAh battery.
For cameras, the device is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor. Other rumored features include dual stereo speakers and a fully water-resistant body.
REDMI Note 17 Pro Max
At the top of the lineup will be the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max. Like the Pro model, it is expected to feature a flat display with a 1.5K resolution, though its screen size remains undisclosed.
The device is tipped to run on MediaTek’s recently announced Dimensity 7500 chipset.
Battery life could be the Pro Max’s biggest selling point, as the leak claims it will pack a huge 10,100mAh battery. It is also expected to feature a 200MP main camera, along with dual speakers and a fully water-resistant chassis.
While these specifications remain unofficial, the repeated leaks suggest REDMI is focusing heavily on battery life and overall performance for the Note 17 series. If accurate, the lineup could offer some of the largest batteries seen in mainstream smartphones when it launches in China next month.
