The Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi– is taking a shot in the tablet market, and now the Philippines is the next destination of this new Redmi device
Redmi Pad, the company’s first tablet, debuted in India earlier this month with outstanding specs and a bargain pricing. The tablet is currently heading to the Philippines. Although the company hasn’t specified a launch date yet, we may anticipate it to happen soon.
The Redmi Pad has a 10.6-inch LCD screen, MediaTek’s Helio G99 CPU, a huge 8,000mAh battery, and many more features.
Redmi is preparing to release the Redmi Pad in the Philippines soon, according to Xiaomi Update Philippines (@miupdateph). According to reports, the tablet will be on sale for PHP 14,999 for the base 6GB plus 128GB model. The business hasn’t made any public statements about the tablet’s launch, though.
The 10.61-inch display on the Redmi Pad has a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The tablet’s internal hardware consists of a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and up to 6GB of RAM.
The tablet has two 8-megapixel cameras: one on the front for selfies and video chats, and one on the rear for taking photos. It has a microSD card port and UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded up to 1TB. It has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, and a USB Type-C port for communication. An 8,000mAh battery that enables 18W rapid charging powers the tablet.
