Two Redmi Turbo 4 Series are in the works, powered by new chipsets from MediaTek and Qualcomm.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Series is expected to be launched in November in China. That said, we got tipped about the next lineups from POCO.
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station leaked that Redmi is working on two phones with 1.5K flat OLEDs powered by Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. If you’ve been keeping up, these two chipsets are mid-range variants of the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite flagships.
Following the pattern of POCO X6 Pro and F6, these are rebrands of the Redmi K70e and Redmi Turbo 3, respectively. However, a report suggested two scenarios.
In one scenario, the Redmi K80e will be powered by Dimensity 8400 while Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for the Redmi Turbo 4. In the other, the Dimensity 8400 will go to the Redmi Turbo 4 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 to the Redmi Turbo 4.
Whatever the case, the clues are obvious which POCO models will likely receive these new chipsets:
POCO models | Chipset models |
POCO X6 Pro (launched) | Dimensity 8300-Ultra |
POCO F6 (launched) | Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 |
POCO X7 Pro (speculated) | Dimensity 8400 |
POCO F7 (speculated) | Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 |
As for launch dates, the POCO X7 Series may launch around January next year while around May for the POCO F7 Series.
