Redmi, a popular sub-brand of Xiaomi, is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in China this month. The device, codenamed “Little Tornado,” is widely speculated to be the Redmi Turbo 4.

Powered by Dimensity 8400
The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be the world’s first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset. Built on TSMC’s 4nm process, this powerful chip promises impressive performance, thanks to its Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and a clock speed exceeding 3GHz. The device is also rumored to feature a Mali-G925 MC12 GPU, similar to the one found in the Dimensity 9400.

While the Redmi Turbo series is currently targeted for the Chinese market, it’s possible that rebranded versions(POCO X7 Pro and F7) may be launched globally.
