A newly leaked render has revealed what is believed to be the upcoming REDMI Turbo 6 Max, showing off a completely refreshed rear design while hinting at several flagship-grade upgrades.
According to the leaked image, REDMI is ditching the left-aligned vertical camera island used on the current REDMI Turbo 5 Max. Instead, the Turbo 6 Max appears to adopt a full-width camera bar stretching across the upper portion of the back, a design that’s reminiscent of Google’s recent Pixel smartphones.
Beyond the new look, the rumored specifications suggest REDMI is aiming even higher this generation.
The REDMI Turbo 6 Max is tipped to feature a 7-inch flat display with 2K resolution, making it one of the largest screens in Redmi’s lineup. Battery capacity is also expected to increase significantly, with the phone rumored to pack a 10,000mAh battery, a 1,000mAh upgrade over the Turbo 5 Max.
Performance is still somewhat up in the air. Current reports suggest the handset could retain the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s found in its predecessor, although another possibility is the upcoming Dimensity 9600s, which is rumored to be an enhanced version of MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset.
As for availability, the REDMI Turbo 6 Max is still believed to be months away from its official launch, so more leaks and details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks and months.
