REDMI may be preparing another performance-focused smartphone after the expected launches of the REDMI Note 17 series this month and the REDMI K100 series in August. A new leak now points to the upcoming REDMI Turbo 6 Max, which could debut around January 2027.
The latest information comes from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. Although the tipster didn’t mention the phone by name, the leaked specifications match previous reports about the REDMI Turbo 6 Max.

According to the leak, the phone will feature a 7-inch flat 2K display, a new MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chipset, and a 10,000mAh-class battery, making it one of the biggest battery phones in its category.

While the exact chipset wasn’t revealed, previous leaks claim it will be built on a 3nm process.
Other rumored features include:
- Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
- Metal middle frame
- IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance
The REDMI Turbo 6 Max is expected to compete with the rumored OnePlus Turbo 7, which is also tipped to launch around the same time with a Snapdragon 8-series processor.
For global markets, the REDMI Turbo 6 Max is rumored to launch as the POCO X9 Pro Max.
As always, these details are based on leaks and remain unconfirmed until REDMI makes an official announcement.
