Restyled Xiaomi CIVI 2 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 believed to be the Xiaomi 13 Lite.

It appears like Xiaomi is getting ready to add a new model to the Xiaomi 13 series. Xiaomi has developed the Xiaomi 13 Lite in response to a recent Google Play Console listing, despite the fact that the business already markets the product in China under a different name.

Xiaomi seems to be ready to make the CIVI 2 available outside of China, where it was first introduced in September. This was predicted by IMEI databases, but Xiaomi has already registered the gadget with the Google Play Console, a sign of a product’s approaching release. As anticipated, the CIVI brand, which Xiaomi launched in September 2021 in its home market, will continue to be an exclusive in China.

PS: The Xiaomi CIVI 2 was one of the first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

Despite not yet teasing the product, Xiaomi has made it clear that it will present brand-new models at MWC 2023 in Barcelona next month. Therefore, we wouldn’t count out the Xiaomi 13 Lite making a debut alongside the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and possibly the Xiaomi 13S Ultra. For better or worse, the Xiaomi 13 Lite looks exactly the same as the Xiaomi CIVI 2.

Xiaomi CIVI 2

One the contrary, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which has a 4 nm manufacturing process and hasn’t seen widespread usage yet, is confirmed by the Google Play Console to be used by the Xiaomi 13 Lite. The Xiaomi 13 Lite also features a 1080p display, which is likely the same 6.55-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display that is seen in the CIVI 2. For some unknown reason, Xiaomi uploaded a picture of the CIVI 1S on the Google Play Console. However, rather than being a reference to Xiaomi fusing the CIVI 2’s internals with its predecessor, we assume this was a mistake.
