It’s time for the real test…

The Infinix XPAD 30 Pro showed plenty of promise during our initial review, which you can read here if you haven’t already. But first impressions only tell you so much.

Sure, the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro looks the part, but its appeal goes far beyond aesthetics. Built for powerful performance, it handles work, gaming, streaming, browsing, and multitasking with ease, all while delivering an elevated entertainment experience that makes every moment more immersive. And that’s where things get interesting.

With a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate at the helm, an 11-inch 2.5K Eye-Care display, an 8,200 mAh battery, and a whole suite of AI-powered tools, Infinix’s couldn’t be more clear at the fact that the XPAD 30 Pro is more than just another Android tablet.

The only question is, does it actually have the performance to back all that up?

Let’s find out.

Smaller, Lighter, and Easier to Live With

As I’ve previously mentioned, the XPAD 30 Pro introduces a fresh design for the XPAD series, and Infinix has taken things a step further by making the tablet smaller and lighter. Its sleek design even earned the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro the 2026 European Product Design Award, adding recognition to its refined look and thoughtful form.

While the thickness remains at 6.6 mm, which is still impressive by today’s standards, the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro weighs just 476g, making it ultra-slim and ultra-light. It’s also 12.66% lighter than its predecessor, and trust me, that’s the first thing you’ll notice the moment you pick it up.

Unlike last year’s model, which can tend to feel unwieldy, especially with small hands like me, the new XPAD 30 Pro’s smaller and lighter chassis make that much less of an issue. That makes handheld experience a lot easier regardless if you’re bringing it to the class, taking it to the office, or simply lying on the sofa watching videos.

2.5K Goodness at 90Hz

Part of what made the handheld experience better is the shift to use an 11-inch display from a 12-inch one. You still get plenty of real estate for your spreadsheets, movies, and games while making it much easier to handle once you’re done working.

The Infinix XPAD 30 Pro comes with an 11-inch 2.5K Eye-Care TFT LCD display running at 90Hz and protected by a Panda MN228 glass. The bezels are uniform all around with an 85% screen-to-body ratio to boast, giving you plenty of usable space to work with.

Although truth be told, I would’ve preferred the panel to support 120Hz instead of 90Hz, just to make the scrolling animation and gaming feel even smoother.

Still, it’s packed with a bunch of features that make the viewing experience both safe and enjoyable. The XPAD 30 Pro carries a Dual Eye Care Certification from TÜV Rheinland with Hardware-Level Low Blue Light and PM Dimming Flicker-Free Technology. So reading e-books, watching videos, or doom-scrolling before bed shouldn’t strain your precious peepers.

There’s also palm rejection, which comes in handy when you’re writing or drawing with a pen, as well as wet touch operation for when you’re in a cooking mood or if you’re anything like me, simply trying to use the tablet with sweaty hands…

The Helio G200 Ultimate Steps Up

Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. If 6GB isn’t enough, Infinix’s Extended RAM feature can bring that up to 12GB. On the other hand, if the included 128GB feels a bit constraining, the SIM slot doubles as a microSD slot to bring that up to 2TB.

Infinix claims a 35.6% uplift in AnTuTu Benchmark V11 compared to the XPAD 20 Pro’s Helio G100 Ultimate but of course, we had to come and see it for ourselves. So, naturally, we ran our own test with AnTuTu Benchmark V11 and here’s how it fared.

Front view of the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro display showing an AnTuTu Benchmark score result of 575658 on a blue user interface.

But benchmarks are only half the story so we also ran some of the most popular games on the Play Store, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Genshin Impact just for the hell of it.

For the most part, the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro held up surprisingly well. Both MLBB and CODM delivered a smooth gaming experience even on the highest settings. The tablet’s gaming and overall performance capabilities have also been tested by MPL and Aurora Gaming, adding another layer of validation to its performance. Genshin Impact, on the other hand, gave the tablet an uphill battle.

The game remained playable for the most part, although you can expect some frame drops here and there, particularly because of how demanding it is. The rear warmed up a bit during longer sessions but never to the point that it became uncomfortable to hold.

Infinix didn’t stop there. Instead of slapping a new chip and calling it a day, the company added several gaming-focused features to its X-Boost toolbar to further elevate the experience.

First up is the AI Magic Voice Changer, which gives you up to 25 real-time voice-changing effects. I’ll admit it’s a little gimmicky for my taste, but it sure makes the multiplayer experience a whole lot of fun. Plus, seeing as streaming is on the rise, the AI Magic Voice Changer gives streamers the tool to spice up their broadcasts.

Then there’s Bypass Charging. Now this one I appreciate a lot more. In any gadget, heat is one of the biggest performance killers. It’ll make your device throttle, leading to unstable frame rate, and it can outright kill your battery longevity. Bypass Charging prevents that by routing power directly to the device, bypassing your battery, letting it stay cool.

And then finally, there’s Esports Mode. We’ve all been there, you’re in the middle of a match, already in your flow state, then boom! Someone messages you, right at the moment you’re about to secure the win. Hassle ‘di ba? Esports Mode eliminates all the distractions, allowing you to focus on clutching that victory.

Built for Long Sessions

Keeping the lights on is a massive 8,200 mAh battery, which should comfortably get you through a full day of heavy usage, possibly two with a more casual use. However, charging is a different story.

The Infinix XPAD 30 Pro only supports 18W fast charging. Now, 18W is perfectly respectable for a smartphone with a battery below 5,000 mAh. But when you’re talking about a behemoth such as the XPAD 30 Pro’s 8,200 mAh, there’s a lot more battery to fill.

My advice is, plug it in after a long day and let it charge through the night and you’ll have a fresh Infinix XPAD 30 Pro waiting for you the next morning. Because if you’re planning to do it while preparing for school or for work, you’re gonna find yourself rationing every percent.

Making Work Smarter, Not Harder

Of course, the tech experience wouldn’t be complete without talking about AI. In 2026, the question no longer revolves around “Does it have AI?” Now it’s “Is the AI actually useful?”

Thankfully, Infinix seems to have their priorities straight, taking a more practical approach with the XPAD 30 Pro. Instead of treating AI as a gimmick, the company integrated features that improve everyday learning, productivity, content creation, and even entertainment.

The most notable being the upgraded Notepad app, which includes features like:

  • AI Scan-to-Document
  • Audio Summarization
  • Translation Assistant
  • AI Subtitles
  • Smart Notes
  • AI Art
  • AI Writing
  • Circle and Search
  • Snap for Answer

Imagine sitting in class, you press record and leave the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro on your desk, you listen and participate in the discussion then after the class is done, you upload the recording to Folax AI to get a summary of the recording. You can even use the Translation Assistant to translate it other languages.

But audio just won’t cut it, so you use AI Scan to Document to take a photo of the notes written on the blackboard and let the AI do its thing to turn it into a cleaner, digital version. However, there’s still a concept you just can’t put your head around so you go to Folax AI, using Snap for Answer to explain the things you still can’t understand. And when there’s a term you don’t recognize, Circle and Search lets you look it up without leaving your current window.

I mean, when you put it like that, AI just makes sense. It doesn’t replace the way you work; it just removes the tedious stuff in between that’s keeping you from doing the more important things.

And it’s not just for work either. If your passion is drawing, AI Art lets you experiment with different styles based on your sketches. While if writing is more your thing, AI Writing can help clean up your work, fix errors, and improve your overall performance.

Then when it’s time for some downtime, Infinix’s AI-powered entertainment features comes into play. Tools like the AI-powered one-tap entertainment info queries and AI-subtitled video streaming can help you get more information without jumping between apps. Watching something foreign? AI Subtitles got you covered.

Other Notable Features

Since the XPAD 30 Pro already follows the design language of the entire Infinix lineup, it should only be right to extend the unification to the software side of things. Which is why if you’re currently rocking an Infinix smartphone or perhaps an XBOOK laptop, the XPAD 30 Pro slots comfortably between the two.

XBOOK’s desktop looking a bit cramped? Use the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro as an extended screen. Need to transfer photos from your Infinix NOTE 60 Pro to your XPAD 30 Pro? Just send it without having to fiddle with cables.

And if you’re planning to use your XPAD 30 Pro as a sort of family tablet, Infinix includes three apps for every level, all free from the moment you buy one. For children ages 2 to 16, there’s the Learning Center which gives you access to five learning modules.

Then if you want to teach your kids but don’t exactly know how to, you can use the Hi Tutor feature to clearly explain concepts that you yourself are struggling with. Heck, you may even learn a thing or two just by facilitating.

Finally, there’s EduDesk. For the millennials and Gen Zs out there, remember Microsoft Encarta? Well, it’s like that but for your tablet. It gives you access to over 6,000+ videos across 20+ subjects, and there’s even a curated edutainment game center with 14 puzzle games. All of which can be easily controlled using the one-click parental control.

Final Thoughts

Instead of focusing on one aspect over another, Infinix took the XPAD 30 Pro and made it an all-around entertainment and productivity machine.

The MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate gives it enough horsepower for everyday work, multitasking, and gaming without breaking the bank. The 11-inch 2.5K 90Hz Eye-Care display makes everything from spreadsheets to streaming more enjoyable. The 8,200 mAh battery gives you the endurance to last through long days.

Then there’s the AI. From summarizing lectures and scanning documents to generating art, cleaning up writing, and adding subtitles to videos, Infinix has taken a decidedly practical approach to AI.

And perhaps that’s where the XPAD 30 Pro really shines. It doesn’t matter if you’re a student taking notes, a professional getting work done, or a gamer squeezing in a few matches, the Infinix XPAD 30 Pro is built to keep up with all of ‘em.
