Samsung Galaxy A06 looks similar to A05, including the chipset.
The entry-level series of the Samsung Galaxy A Series is getting a successor soon. However, early renders and leaked specs suggested similar vibes with the predecessor.
According to a report, the 360-degree look of the rumored Galaxy A06 isn’t that different from the Galaxy A05. The successor has the same dual-rear camera setup and camera layout. Even the selfie camera is still placed in a dewdrop notch.
The Galaxy A06 is thinner than its predecessor with 8 millimeters of thickness, contrast to the 8.8 mm of last year’s model. The typical large chin is obvious on this one.
The speaker grille is located at the bottom along with the USB Type-C and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Volume rockers and the power key are placed at the right with the power button capable of fingerprint biometric security.
About the specs, here’s the leaked info:
Display | 6.7” IPS LCD, 720 x 1600 |
Processor | MediaTek Helio G85 |
Memory | 6 GB RAM |
Battery | 5,000 mAh |
Charging | 15 W wired |
OS | Android 14 |
The dual-rear cameras aren’t known yet but last year’s model is equipped with a 50 MP main shooter and 2 MP depth sensor. While the predecessor has an 8 MP selfie sensor, the upcoming Galaxy A06 may have up to 13 MP.
