While much of the spotlight has been on Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip devices, a new leak is shifting attention to the company’s next budget-friendly smartphone.
Freshly leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G have surfaced online, giving us a clearer look at the device’s design, color options, and a few key features ahead of its official launch.
The images, shared by DigitalCitizen, appear to be official press renders and reveal that the Galaxy A27 5G will be offered in Pink, Blue, and Black color options.
The new renders also seem to confirm several details that were previously rumored.
One image shows Samsung’s Circle to Search feature running on the device, suggesting that the Galaxy A27 5G will inherit at least some of the AI-powered tools that have gradually expanded across Samsung’s smartphone lineup.
Another render highlights a 5,000mAh battery, confirming that the upcoming device will retain the same battery capacity as the current Galaxy A26.
Perhaps the most interesting image is a render featuring a chip labeled with CPU, GPU, and NPU.
The NPU, or Neural Processing Unit, is a specialized processor designed to handle artificial intelligence tasks more efficiently. Its inclusion in the promotional material suggests Samsung intends to bring additional AI-powered features to the Galaxy A27 5G, further expanding AI capabilities beyond its flagship devices.
While the latest leak focuses mainly on the phone’s design and software capabilities, it follows an earlier report that revealed several of the device’s expected specifications.
For now, Samsung has yet to officially announce the Galaxy A27 5G, but the growing number of leaks suggests the smartphone could be approaching its launch.
