The Samsung Galaxy A56 might become a best-seller in the mid-range segment.
The Galaxy A55 was just launched but a new report revealed a successor already in the works. It’s the rumored Galaxy A56 and is allegedly powered by a really capable processor.
According to the report, the device surfaced on Geekbench with 1,046 points on single-core performance and 3,678 points on multi-core performance. This smartphone has an eight-core CPU with three clusters and a max clock speed of 2.91 GHz and 8 GB of RAM.
Although unconfirmed, it’s speculated that the chipset behind the Galaxy A56 is the Samsung Exynos 1580. This CPU has been seen before on the same benchmarking site and it performed similarly to the Snapdragon 888.
The Snapdragon 888 is an old flagship chipset but it can still dish out at least 900K AnTuTu points. If the Exynos 1580 is truly similar to SD 888, the Galaxy A56 may yield AnTuTu points of between 800K and 900K, and that’s massive for a Galaxy mid-ranger. The smartphone may become a best-seller.
But for now, we have to stick with the Galaxy A55, powered by the Exynos 1480, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB ROM.
If the Galaxy A56 scored 900K AnTuTu points, would you buy it?
