The Samsung Galaxy A56 features Key Island for the volume buttons and power key.
The visuals of the Galaxy A56 is essentially a combined aesthetic of Samsung’s mid-rangers and flagships. According to a report, a hint of Galaxy A16 or Galaxy A26 is on the right while the display has the punch-hole cutout and flat design like those on flagships.
The right side has a twist too. Although the screen is flat, this side is curved because of Key Island. The lower part of the right side remains flat but the upper area is raised where the power key and volume rockers are.
The card tray, loudspeaker, microphone, and USB-C port are placed on the bottom part. Nothing is found on the top section. That said, no dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack on Galaxy A56.
Since the Galaxy A56 is a mid-ranger, the display bezel is quite thick, particularly the chin. But under the hood, the handset features the Exynos 1580 processor and 45W fast charging.
The Exynos 1580 has surfaced on Geekbench before and it scored similarly to the legacy flagship, Snapdragon 888. That alone suggests smooth performance for a mid-ranger.
As for the price, the Galaxy A56 may be pricey at launch considering that its predecessor, Galaxy A55 5G is still priced at almost 25K.
