Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India, expanding its F-series lineup with a new mid-range smartphone that focuses on long software support, AI features, and all-day battery life. The device combines Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 6,000mAh battery, and promises six Android OS upgrades, making it one of Samsung’s longest-supported phones in its price segment.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for improved durability against scratches and accidental drops.
Out of the box, the phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung is promising six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, giving the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G one of the longest software support policies in the mid-range category.
Samsung also includes several Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search with Google, AI Voice Transcription, Direct Voicemail, and Samsung Knox security.

Under the hood, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with the Adreno 710 GPU.
Samsung highlights LPDDR5X memory in its marketing, but the retail variants currently available use LPDDR5 RAM instead. According to the company, users shouldn’t expect any noticeable performance difference between LPDDR5 and LPDDR5X on this chipset.
The phone is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes a hybrid microSD card slot for expandable storage.
Keeping the phone running is a 6,000mAh battery with support for fast charging, although Samsung has not disclosed the charging speed.
For photography, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with a 5MP ultra-wide camera.
On the front is a 12MP HDR selfie camera, one of the phone’s key highlights.
The camera app includes several shooting modes such as Night, Portrait, Pro, Pro Video, Hyperlapse, Slow Motion, Super Slow Motion, Single Take, and more. The phone can also record 4K video using Samsung’s No Shake Cam stabilization feature.
