Samsung Galaxy M54 specs and renders leaked, first in the M Series with SD888

Samsung’s M Series is competently priced with some of the most balanced specs sheet out there, and the M54 is not surprising either

The Samsung Galaxy M54, the M53’s successor, will be made available by the company. The whole spec sheet for the upcoming Galaxy M54 has been revealed by YouTube user “The Pixel” from Vietnam, who has previously leaked information about several Samsung, OPPO, and Xiaomi products in the past.

Samsung Galaxy M54

The Samsung Galaxy M54 will have a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz, according to a report; while a single punch-hole cutout in the center of the display will house the selfie camera as well.

The smartphone’s engine will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU. That’s before moving to the Gen naming scheme, this was Qualcomm’s top-tier SoC in 2020. Despite its age, this will be the most powerful chipset used in an M-series smartphone to date. Let’s hope no overheating and throttling problems!

On the rear of the phone, there will be three cameras. There are three lenses included: a 64MP main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, it sports a single 32MP sensor hidden behind the punch-hole cutout. The camera setups of the Galaxy M52 and Galaxy M51 are comparable. The chances are that Samsung will use the same lenses in the Samsung Galaxy M54.

Aside from that, the gadget will come in at least an 8GB + 128GB option. The informant also speculates that some regions may receive a 256GB storage option. It will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and will support 25W rapid charging.

In terms of pricing, the tipster predicts that the Galaxy M54 will cost roughly 10,000,000 VND (or roughly ₱24,000) in Vietnam. With today’s exchange rates, this equates to approximately 34,000 INR or 410-420 EUR. According to the source, the phone would be available in Vietnam by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
