Samsung’s M-series has always been about packing solid hardware into a budget-friendly package, and the upcoming Galaxy M56 looks like it’s following that tradition—only with some serious upgrades this time around.
A recent Geekbench listing has revealed key details about the M56, hinting at a capable mid-range device that might just shake up the competition.
Exynos Power: The Galaxy M56’s Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy M56 is running on the Exynos 1480 chipset, the same silicon found in the Galaxy A55. While Exynos processors have had their ups and downs, this one is expected to deliver efficient multitasking and decent gaming performance, thanks to its AMD RDNA-based Xclipse 530 GPU. Paired with 8GB of RAM, this setup should handle everyday tasks and a bit of gaming without breaking a sweat.

Leaks suggest the M56 will sport a triple-camera setup, led by a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This means sharper photos and steadier videos, especially in low light. An 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor round out the rear setup. On the front, you’re looking at a 50MP selfie camera, which is a serious flex for a mid-range phone.
