Samsung Galaxy S24 AI features only free until 2025

Samsung drops the bomb for Galaxy S users. They have to pay for Galaxy AI in 2026.

The latest Samsung Galaxy S24 Series boasts new AI features that definitely hyped many interested users as they can do a lot with these tools.

Unfortunately, not many know the fine print. The details have surfaced online, thanks to the official US website of Samsung. The gist is Galaxy AI won’t be forever free even on the Galaxy S24 devices.

“Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices. Different terms may apply for AI features provided by third parties.”

The note is part of the footnotes for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Whether you’re upgrading or migrating to this new smartphone, you can only enjoy the Galaxy AI for free until the end of 2025.

What’s worrying is the lack of clarity on how much users need to pay to keep using Galaxy AI. Will there be a single package or can users pay for select functions? We’ll have to wait in the coming days for the official details.

Galaxy AI has interesting tools for the camera and image post-processing and additional features like:

  • Circle to Search: Circle, highlight, scribble on, or tap anything on the screen to get high-quality search results.
  • Live Translate: Two-way real-time voice and text translations of phone calls without using third-party apps.
  • Chat Assist: Perfect conversational tones when communicating via other languages in real time.
  • Note Assistant: Get organized summaries of notes and more.
  • Interpreter: Live translations of conversations between people standing opposite of each other.

The Galaxy S24 Series is now available for preorders. Check out their specs and pricing below.
