The next-generation Galaxy S smartphones are going live very soon. The Galaxy Unpacked 2024 is ready to present the latest innovative technologies, like mobile AI.

So, what can we expect?

The most anticipated announcement is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series, spearheaded by the ever-powerful Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S24 family is expected to have the Galaxy S24 base model, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with the latter having the S Pen support.

Some of the much-awaited details people expect include the quad-rear camera system on Galaxy S24 Ultra, new AI-based features, and titanium alloy. During the event, the brand will confirm which models will have the Snapdragon and Exynos processors.

Besides the Galaxy S24 lineup, the Galaxy Unpacked event is where the Galaxy AI will be unveiled. Whatever name it takes, the mobile AI engine is what makes the lineup more premium than its predecessor.

The Galaxy Unpacked 2024 will be held in San Jose, California, on January 17 at 10 a.m PST. That’s January 18 at 2 a.m. PH time. Register here and get an e-voucher worth 5K!

When can you preorder Galaxy S24? The official dates are expected to be mentioned during the vent. But a recent report revealed some interesting perks for those pre-ordering models of the series, including:

  • Free memory upgrade for pre-ordering Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra (Korea).
  • 1TB free memory upgrade for a fixed number of units (Austria).
