A battery test of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series showed the real tank in battery endurance, beating two Ultra bros!
YouTube content creator Android Addicts tested the battery endurance of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But first, quick specs:
| Specs | Galaxy S25 | Galaxy S25+ | Galaxy S25 Ultra | Galaxy S24 Ultra |
| Display size | 6.2 inches | 6.5 inches | 6.9 inches | 6.8 inches |
| Display resolution | 1080p | 1440p | 1440p | 1440p |
| CPU max clock speed | 4.47GHz | 4.47GHz | 4.47GHz | 3.39GHz |
| Battery capacity | 4000mAh | 4900mAh | 5000mAh | 5000mAh |

Before the test started, all devices were tested on Geekbench and all Galaxy S25 models scored almost the same. This shows that no restrictions were applied on lower Galaxy S25 models.
The test included scrolling on social media and watching movies and benchmarking to mimic heavy tasks. Overall, the champion is the Galaxy S25+, beating both Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The results are:
- Galaxy S25+ lasting 13 hours and 17 minutes
- Galaxy S25 Ultra lasting 13 hours and 2 minutes
- Galaxy S25 lasting 11 hours and 21 minutes
- Galaxy S24 Ultra lasting 8 hours and 33 minutes
Take note that the base Galaxy S25 only has 4000mAh capacity, but its brightness dimmed slightly in the last 81 minutes of the test. Meanwhile, the 6.7-inch display size of the Galaxy S25+ helped a lot during the test.
If you upgraded from Galaxy S23 to Galaxy S25, you’ll experience the changes across the board. But from Galaxy S24 to Galaxy S25, it’ll only be efficient if you get the maximum value from the trade-in.
