Samsung officially launches the highly anticipated S25 series in Philippine shores. What can we expect?

The S25 family of phones has been officially unveiled and are already available for pre-order starting today until the 13th of the following month. The series features three models: The base S25, the larger S25+, and the top of the line model, the S25 Ultra. Prices start at ₱51,990 for the base S25, ₱67,990 for the Plus version, and ₱84,990 for the Ultra version.
The Galaxy S25 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite paired with the Adreno 830 GPU, ensuring top-tier performance. All models come equipped with 12GB of RAM as standard. Storage options vary, with the S25 and S25+ offering up to 512GB, while the S25 Ultra boasts a massive 1TB option for those needing more space.
The display varies depending on the model, with the base model featuring a 6.2 inch 1080p display enclosed in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The same protection can be expected with the bigger sibling albeit with a bigger display and higher resolution at 6.7 inch and 1440p display. Meanwhile, the Ultra will sport a 6.9 inch 1440p display enclosed in Corning Gorilla Armor 2. All of these will feature the 120Hz Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X, making it a media-consumption powerhouse.

Both the S25 and S25+ will feature the same 50 MP main camera with a 10 MP telephoto, and 12 MP ultrawide lens for those group shots. While the S25 Ultra sports an mind-boggling 200 MP main camera with a 10 MP telephoto, 50 MP periscope telephoto, and 50 MP ultrawide lens. All of them sport a 12 MP dual pixel camera for those beautiful selfies. For videos, users can shoot videos up to 8K 30 fps or 4K 120fps with support for HDR10+, stereo sound, and gyro-EIS to make sure that films turn out smoothly.
Where’s the Galaxy S25 Edge?
Samsung also teased the rumored S25 Edge at their Unpacked event, hinting the phone as a successor to the Fan Edition or FE, the more affordable version of the S series. It is expected to compete with the also rumored iPhone 17 Air.
