Why rounded corners? To hold the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra better!
The next top-tier smartphone by Samsung is coming out early next year, but is it really an upgrade from the current flagship? A new leak suggested a slightly different design.
On X (formerly Twitter), user @UniverseIce revealed the first look of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The image showed the obvious rounded corners of the device, a major difference in the visual compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Although some may not find that too different, it has a huge impact on ergonomics. The rounded edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra means you can hold it better and more comfortably.

In terms of specs, previous reports suggested that the device will be powered by a 3-nm processor, likely the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 with custom Oryon cores. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2500 instead.
Other rumored specs include a 200 MP main camera, 50 MP telephoto sensor, 50 MP super-telephoto sensor, 50 MP ultra-wide lens, 12 MP selfie shooter, and 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging.
The early look of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a bit disappointing because the display appears similar to that of Galaxy S24. Same screen size and aspect ratio. Though, we may get a 2K resolution.
