Samsung might finally bring a “Pro” model to its flagship line. Before the Galaxy S26 series (Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, Galaxy S26 Ultra) launched, rumors claimed Samsung would replace the “Plus” model with a “Pro” version. That did not happen, and Samsung kept its usual names.
Now, a reliable leaker named Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims Samsung is working on the Galaxy S27 Pro instead. Here is everything from the leak:
According to the leak, the Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 6.47-inch screen. This is smaller than the Galaxy S26 Plus, which has a 6.7-inch screen.
The biggest feature is a hardware-level privacy screen. This technology blocks people next to you from peeking at your phone because it limits the viewing angles. Currently, Samsung keeps this feature exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The leak also mentions the premium Galaxy S27 Ultra. It will reportedly feature a large 6.89-inch 2K screen with the same privacy tech.
The most interesting part? Samsung reportedly plans to keep this display technology exclusive to its own phones. They will not supply it to other brands for now. Since Apple buys many iPhone screens from Samsung, this means future iPhones might miss out on this privacy feature, giving Samsung a big advantage.
