Samsung may be preparing a major shake up for its next flagship lineup. A new leak surrounding the upcoming Galaxy S27 family suggests Samsung could introduce a fourth model next year called the Galaxy S27 Pro, and fresh details are now revealing where it could fit within the lineup.
Back in early April, a report from Korea claimed the Galaxy S27 lineup would grow from three models to four.
The additional device is reportedly called the Galaxy S27 Pro, though earlier leaks stopped short of revealing its actual positioning.
Now, the same source has shared what could be one of the most important details yet: the screen size.
According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a 6.47 inch display.
That would place it directly between the standard Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27+ in terms of size, assuming Samsung keeps similar display dimensions to the current generation.
The leak describes the Galaxy S27 Pro as essentially a “mini Ultra” model.
Samsung is reportedly planning to give the device specifications close to the Galaxy S27 Ultra while reducing a few key elements:
- Smaller display
- Smaller battery
- No S Pen support
Outside of those differences, the Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to closely mirror the Ultra model’s overall hardware package.
Based on the report, the Galaxy S27 Pro could effectively become a more compact version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
That positioning may appeal to users who want flagship grade hardware without committing to the largest phone in Samsung’s lineup.
