Start your new year with a bang and celebrate the era of Samsung Galaxy S25 Series at Galaxy Unpacked.

It’s no surprise that the opening of every year is the dawn of a new Galaxy S flagship series. In 2025, the Galaxy S25 Series will likely have four models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the newest member Galaxy S25 Slim.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is the first of its kind and is expected to take on the rumored iPhone 17 Air. As for the specs, the Galaxy S25 Slim has been reportedly equipped with:
- Snapdragon 8 Elite or Exynos 2400
- 8–12GB RAM minimum
- 256GB ROM minimum
- Main: 200MP ISOCELL HP5 with 1/1.56” sensor size
- Ultrawide: 50MP ISOCELL JN5 with 1/2.76 sensor size
- Telephoto: 50MP ISOCELL JN5 with 1/2.76 sensor size
Snapdragon 8 Elite is possibly too powerful for Galaxy S25 Slim, which may lead to overheating. So, Exynos 2400, which also powered the Galaxy S24 Series, may be a choice too.
Another in attendance is the Project Moohan or Samsung’s first Android XR headset. Its extended reality (XR) capabilities are integrated with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini to provide state-of-the-art AI assistance.

It’s also a lightweight entertainment source that can play YouTube media. But gaming? We’ll have to see which titles are playable on this XR device.
The Galaxy Unpacked event is happening on January 22, 2025 in San Jose, California, at 10 a.m. Pacific time or 2 a.m. Manila time on January 23.
