The Galaxy Unpacked in Paris unveiled the latest innovators of Galaxy AI in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Despite their difference in form factor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 use Dynamic AMOLED with LTPO display technology for crisp visuals with battery-saving capabilities. Under the hood, both premium foldable smartphones have advanced AI and productivity features.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 comes with an S Pen and all-new AI-centric productivity experience. The device sports these features:
- Note Assist: Get translation, summaries, and even auto formatting when jotting down information. These functions also work on voice recordings and are processed and saved in Notes.
- Composer: Found in the Samsung Keyboard, it suggests text based on simple keywords for email and supported social media apps. It also analyzes your tone from your previous posts.
- Sketch to Image: Create art pieces using simple drawings or sketches on the Note or Gallery screen.
- Circle to Search: Curious about a person or object in a video, long press the Home key and circle, highlight, or tap on the subject for instant search results.
- Google Gemini: This is now fully integrated and can now be brought up to the screen, thanks to its exclusive overlay.
Other Galaxy AI features, such as Interpreter and Live Translate, have been upgraded on the Galaxy Z Fold6. Gamers can also enjoy their favorite titles with ray tracing and a larger vapor cooling chamber.
The Galaxy Z Flip6, meanwhile, has a new set of features for the cover display:
- Suggested Replies: Reply quickly with suggested responses based on your latest messages.
- Photo Ambient: Set a wallpaper that changes in real-time based on the time and weather.
- FlexCam with AutoZoom: It now has AutoZoom that finds the best framing for hands-free camera experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 are now available for pre-orders. The 12+256GB variant of the Galaxy Z Fold6 is offered at PHP 105,990, while the 12+256GB of the Galaxy Z Flip6 is at PHP 70,990.
Samsung revealed three more devices during the Galaxy Unpacked event. These are the Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Watch7 BT with respective prices starting at PHP 8,990, PHP 40,990, and PHP 16,990.
