Samsung to bring Galaxy AI to its mid-range A series

Samsung is making some of the advanced AI features trickle down to its budget-end siblings, the A series smartphones. The company is reportedly releasing Galaxy AI capabilities to the Galaxy A55 and A35 via the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 update.

While AI enrichments are expected on these mid-range devices, not all flagship AI features will come to these devices due to hardware limitations. Samsung is sorting out the compatible features for the A series.

It isn’t confirmed which AI features will be introduced through this update, but server-side functionalities could be some of them. This expansion by Samsung moves further on its purpose of making AI available to as many people as possible.
