Of course, the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra participated during the Olympics. More than 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra were installed on boats used in the opening ceremony on the Seine River and the sailing competition in Marseille. All units worked together to let millions of fans across the globe watch.
Samsung also added a spin in the tradition. More than 350,000 Samsung Olympic Games Pins were distributed to athletes and fans of all ages. These pins are now collectible items with memories from this year’s Olympics.
Samsung introduced Victory Selfie for medalists. It served as a visual memory book from the athletes’ perspective to create personalized photos. A total of 293 Victory Selfies were taken.
Samsung remains involved with the Olympics, thanks to the signed deal lasting until 2028. The company will participate in the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games.
