Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6’s Upgrades
Reports indicate this chipset will be built on TSMC’s N2P 2-nm process node. By skipping the standard 2-nm generation step, Qualcomm could gain serious advantages in power efficiency and performance.
On the memory and storage side, the Gen 6 is said to support LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage. These are premium standards that could significantly boost speed for apps, loading times and overall responsiveness.
