The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite is official! It’s a feature-pack processor capable of multimodal generative AI, redefined AI photography, top-notch gaming, and studio-level audio.
Unlike its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has custom Oryon cores for unbelievable speed and efficiency. Before its launch, the chipset was leaked with over 3 million AnTuTu points, crushing Apple’s A18 Pro and beating MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 in one benchmarking tool.
With the new Oryon cores, the processor clocks at 4.32GHz and sports the following upgrades:

In terms of connectivity, the Snapdragon 8 Elite boasts the Snapdragon X80 5G modem with 10Gbps peak download speed and 3.5Gbps peak upload speed. Paired with Qualcomm FastConnect 7900, the chipset can peak at 5.8Gbps on Wi-Fi 7.
