nubia has finally overcome the troubles of placing a selfie camera under a 1.5K AMOLED screen.
As we get closer to the launch of the next Snapdragon flagship, more and more bearers are being unveiled. This time, three devices under the sub-brands of ZTE are reportedly getting it.
ZTE’s upcoming top-tier launches involve the nubia Z70 Ultra, nubia Flip 2, and RedMagic 10, all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. We can definitely expect high-level performance from these devices, and of course, a steep price.
The nubia Z70 Ultra isn’t only about performance because it’s likely the first-ever smartphone with a full 1.5K display and an under-display selfie camera. Why’s that a breakthrough? Higher resolution is a problem with UDC technology, lowering the selfie camera quality, but nubia seems to have overcome it.
While there’s no full specs yet, leaks suggest that the nubia Z70 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80 W charging.
Moving to the nubia Flip 2, the successor of the nubia Flip, was reported with cutting-edge Snapdragon CPU by popular tipster Digital Chat Station. No specs were revealed but based on the predecessor, the nubia Flip 2 may have a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution, and at least 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery and cover screen may also get significant upgrades.
The RedMagic 10 is an obvious Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 bearer for it’s a gaming phone. Aside from that, it’s expected to sport a selfie camera hidden by a 1.5K AMOLED display. This series has at least two models including the Pro version.
But will the RedMagic 10 Pro get a 2K display? What do you think?
