Somebody modded an iPhone 14 Pro Max to have a waterfall display

Yes, it isn’t Apple who made that unholy combination: it’s a lowly engineer. Seems like of all the crazy iPhone mods out there, this can be possible though…

Smartphone development is moving pretty quickly. Performance and camera capabilities surpass previous versions each year, however the same cannot be said about the design.

For instance, Apple has come under fire for using the same design for practically all iPhone models. Last but not least, an engineer determined to address Apple’s flaws created a curved iPhone 14 Pro Max.

A curved iPhone 14 Pro Max was created by an engineer on Twitter going by the handle fix Apple (@lipilipsi). According to Fix Apple, he changed the phone’s middle frame to get this result.

The phone appears faultless in the video, and Dynamic Island remains in place. No information is provided regarding the touch screen’s functionality, though.

Apple does not like their phones to be tampered with, as you are aware. As you are aware, Apple is quite cautious about utilizing authentic parts and does not want their phones to be tampered with.

As a result, it’s possible that there will be an issue following this procedure. Even said, Apple maintains that it will provide curved screens for those who request them.

Unfortunately, neither the cost of this method nor the models on which it is feasible are known. We have only seen the iPhone 14 Pro Max so far. According to his bio, @lipilipsi worked as an engineer at Huawei and Apple. We are unable to confirm this information, which is unfortunate.

So, if you want a curved iPhone 14, be cautious. All of this engineering development made it clear that Apple enthusiasts needed to change.
