The PlayStation 5 Pro may be announced in two events, one of which confirmed Sony Interactive Entertainment has an exhibitor.
The wait for the Sony PS5 Pro might be over sooner than expected. That’s the takeaway from new leaks that surfaced.
So, when is it coming? Likely this year during the holidays. The announcement, however, may happen next month. According to a report, an editor at an Italian gaming outlet suggested their company delayed its own game after learning the release date of PS5 Pro. But they didn’t reveal more details that could have hinted at the exact launch date of the console.
Another report cited an unnamed developer source from Gamescom 2024. That source insisted that the PS5 Pro could run the Unreal Engine 5 easier this time considering the upgrades.
Next month, Sony could tease the PS5 Pro in two possible ways. During its own event, which may not happen, or during the Tokyo Game Show 2024, where it’s confirmed as an exhibitor.
The Tokyo Game Show has two schedules. September 26 and 27 for business only while September 28 and 29 for the general public.
