SONY WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

Sony always made sure their products appeal to the audiophile community, and they’re at it again with their newest product, the Sony WH-1000XM5. The product retails for PHP20,999, which is the closest we’ll get to the official US pricing of USD400.00.

The SONY WH-1000XM5 (that’s a mouthful for a name, it’s SONY’s trademark) is a wireless, noise-cancelling headphone that provide immersive sound quality.

According to their website, some of its best features include a 360° sound experience that will make you feel like you’re in a concert even when you’re not. SONY promises its users this experience thanks to their patent 360° Reality Audio. This feature might actually be really useful when it comes to gaming, as most FPS games render audio that corresponds to the scenario happening real-time in-game.

These headphones can also be wirelessly connected to a SONY Bravia TV that configures the audio in such a way that it gives the impression speakers are playing instead of the headphones itself.

The SONY WH-1000XM5 is equipped with four microphones on each earmuff that captures ambient noise and uses the data captured to produce tones that cancel them out. This headphone will do a good job of isolating you from noisy traffic jams, or crowded places.

The headphones has several other features like noise cancellation and ambient noise reduction for calls, one tap quick access to resume music on Spotify, quick voice chat mode (speak-to-start chat), among others.
