Fresh leaks deliver a closer look at the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI, potentially launching on May 17th.These official-looking images showcase the phones in detail, giving us a sneak peek before Sony’s big reveal.
The Xperia 10 VI appears in all its three color options. However, a noticeable change is the absence of the telephoto lens from its predecessor. This might seem like a downgrade, but the main camera could potentially offer lossless 2x zoom to compensate. Both phones retain the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack.
As expected, a significant price difference separates the two models. The Xperia 1 VI, Sony’s flagship, is rumored to boast a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a triple-camera system with a periscope telephoto lens, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and a smooth 120Hz display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In contrast, the Xperia 10 VI seems to prioritize design with a more modern aesthetic compared to the 1 VI’s traditional look. While details are scarce, the leaked images reveal a wider aspect ratio (19.5:9) and noticeably thinner bezels compared to its sibling.
With the launch event just a couple of weeks away, we can expect a flurry of official information about the Xperia 10 VI soon.
