Tecno is really ramping up their design game, first the artsy Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, now the Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition, which looked like diamonds and speed with the bravado of a BMW sportscar
Earlier this year, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro was introduced in a variety of colours. Now, Tecno has joined forces with Designworks, the BMW Group’s design innovation division, to produce a limited-edition model of the phone known as the Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition — which looks really impressive!
For this limited edition, Designworks was tasked with selecting the materials, colors, and finish. The diamond-esque inspired pattern combines pearl white colors and jet-blue colorways that looked like a crossover between a sportscar and a toothpaste ad. The two elliptical camera islands are reminiscent of the BMW emblem, but this is more of an homage than an exact replica.
The Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition is designed for youthful customers who value luxury, particularly when it comes to automobiles. Due to the intensely intimate connection that users have with their cellphones, the design team compared smartphones to automobiles. This looks good in our hands, to be honest.

The phone is identical to the standard Spark 9 Pro on the outside. This includes a 6.6″ IPS LCD (FHD+), a Helio G85 CPU (running Android 12/HIOS 8.6), 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage, a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W charging.
There are some markets in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East where you may purchase the Tecno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition. Each region will receive specific announcements regarding the launch date and cost. We don’t see Philippines in the initial release list, but given how strong Tecno’s market here in the country, we hoped for the best to give us this cool piece of tech soon.
