An image promoting the TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra smartphone. The background is a digital illustration of a stormy sea in a style similar to Van Gogh's "The Starry Night," with the TCL and Unbox Diaries logos at the top. The foreground shows the phone, split vertically to display both the front and back. The screen on the left shows a painting of a boat under a starry sky. The back of the phone on the right is black with a large, circular camera module. A yellow banner at the bottom lists the phone's key specifications: "TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra: 7.2" FHD+ 120Hz Display, Dimensity 7400 12GB RAM and 50MP Periscope Camera."

The TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is a new smartphone that focuses on user comfort and high-end features. It combines a unique, eye-friendly display with powerful specifications, setting it apart in a crowded market.

Display and Design

Both phones are black and are shown from a slightly angled perspective, displaying the same screen which features an impressionist-style painting of a sailboat at night with a large moon. The time "12:39" and the date "Thu, 06/04/2023" are visible on the screen. A caption below the image reads, "TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra via, Gizmochina."

At the center of the device is its large 7.2-inch FHD+ NXTPAPER display, which features a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display’s key feature is its anti-glare, matte finish that mimics paper, designed to reduce eye strain and blue light. For e-reading, a dedicated “Max Ink Mode” changes the screen to monochrome.

Performance and Camera

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, supported by a significant 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This ensures smooth performance for multitasking and demanding applications. The device also packs a large 5200 mAh battery.

For photography, the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra offers a versatile triple-camera system. This includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front-facing camera is 32MP.

Pricing and Availability

The TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is available for pre-order on Amazon Germany for €479.99 (or roughly ₱32,175). It runs on Android 15 and is confirmed to have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The device will be officially launched at IFA 2025.
