Tecno’s latest Camon 20 series with the Tecno Camon 20 Premier, 20 Pro, and 20 Pro 5G, hasmade an impressive entry into the Android market. They have introduced a striking “Masterful Aesthetic” design and the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor.
The flagship 20 Premier boasts an exceptional camera set-up, featuring a 108MP ultra-wide/macro camera, a 50MP OIS-enabled “RGBW Pro” shooter, and a 2MP “Bokeh” lens.
The top-of-the-line 20 Premier model has the “Premier” suffix, distinguishing it as the new flagship device. All devices in the 20 series share a stylish “Masterful Aesthetic” design, with geometric shapes are in either “lychee pattern” vegan leather or light-bending glass, depending on the variant and colorway. Tecno’s design approach in this series really shows more attention to detail and elegance.
The Camon 20 series features 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with punch-hole designs for 32MP “AI Shining Selfie” cameras. The vanilla 20 model misses out on the 120Hz refresh rate of the rest of the series, but still offers generous 5,000mAh/33W (or 45W in the Premier) power specs, HIOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box and 8GB RAM/256GB base models.
The Camon 20 Premier stands out from the rest of the series with its 512GB storage capacity, although it doesn’t include a 3.5mm jack. It also boasts a powerful 108MP ultra-wide/macro camera, complemented by a 50MP OIS-enabled “RGBW Pro” shooter and a 2MP “Bokeh” lens set inside its “Octa Ring” flash.
The rest of the Camon 20 series features a 64MP main camera, with OIS only available in the Pro 5G model. The series has the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor, which tops the market in performance “Masterful Fluency”. The 8050 processor also has similar specs to the 1300, with support for 200MP main cameras.
While Tecno has not yet announced pricing and availability for the Camon 20 series. However, the series will most likely be available in Africa and Southeast Asia. The 20 Pro 5G model will be available in Nigeria, at approximately US$300 which is around Php16,749. With its impressive camera specs, large storage, powerful processors, and sleek design, the Camon 20 series is sure to delight smartphone users looking for top-of-the-line features.
