TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G Ranked!

Camera inside and out, the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G raises mobile photography to the next level in the mid-range segment.

The TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G is officially available for purchase on popular online selling stores. As such, it deserves an entry to our illustrious tier list!

Before we rate this device, let’s determine what makes this smartphone a good buy. Let’s start with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate that currently yields between 900,000 and 1 million AnTuTu points. That’s enough for most games, including AAA titles, on the Play Store.

Next is the 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM. The memory is definitely more than sufficient to run apps smoothly and keep them in the foreground while you multitask between them. The onboard storage can store lots of apps, games, media, and other files.

Another excellent feature of the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G is the triple-rear camera setup. It’s composed of a 50 MP main sensor, accompanied by 50 MP and 2 MP secondary sensors. The selfie camera even boasts a 50 MP lens.

These sensors aren’t just for resolution because they can take pictures at night with great detail and record video with good stabilization. The front sensor even supports eye tracking making vlogs more charming.

The display is impactful too. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate, making the UI and games look and feel exceptionally smooth. Not many mid-range phones offer this.

All-day performance can be expected with the 5000 mAh battery and 70 W rapid charging. Worried about overheating? The smartphone chills almost everything out with its nine-layer cooling system.

Last but not the least is the fashionable design. The TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G has three unique colorways in Iceland Basaltic Dark, Alps Snowy Silver, and the more premium-looking LOEWE Design Edition. The device also sports a camera-like visuals which is extended to the phone case as well.

Despite its major overhaul when compared to its predecessor, there are a few things that the brand should consider. The smartphone only has a 1080p display, which is a bit off for its size and refresh rate. It also lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack and microSD card slot that may put off sound junkies and users who store tons of video files.

The TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G is a recommended below 20K smartphone choice for vloggers, camera enthusiasts, and casual gamers. Weighing the upsides and downsides, it’s “Maganda na.”

But if mobile photography isn’t your thing, you can opt for the Infinix GT 20 Pro, also powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate and 144 Hz screen. This one comes with two extra chipsets that stabilize high frame rates during gaming.

If you’ve more budget, add a few thousands bucks and get the POCO X6 Pro 5G, powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, which can dish out 1.3 million AnTuTu points. This one is all about raw performance and it can juice up quickly with 67 W of rapid charging.
