TECNO CAMON 30S Ranked!

It’s time to rank the TECNO CAMON 30S in our smartphone tier list! This 4G-ready mid-ranger is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100, with decent performance, and a wholly unique design that’s in line with TECNO’s branding – sleek and stylish!

First off, are its specs:

The TECNO CAMON 30S boasts a large AMOLED display that spans 6.78 inches, 1080p resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

In terms of photography, the TECNO CAMON 30S has a 50+2MP camera setup at the back and 13MP at the front. Using the handset all day is not an issue with its 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging – decent charge speed, but not enough for some users though.

Stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack are featured as well, which is expected for a phone at this price point.

So what is its ranking in our tier list? The TECNO CAMON 30S is ranked as “Maganda na” – it offers an attractive price point of PHP 7,699, however, its lack of 5G connectivity limits its future-proofing. While it could be a “Super Sulit” option, its slower charging speed, camera performance, and 4G processor compared to its other peers in its tier may be a drawback for some users.

If you’re thinking about function or budget, some alternatives are the TECNO SPARK 20 Pro 5G (5G CPU), TECNO SPARK 30 Pro (better cameras), and nubia Neo 2 5G (5G and higher battery). The third alternative is better across the board but pricier.
