TECNO CAMON 40 Premier 5G Launches with Stunning Camera Upgrades and Ultra-Slim Design

CAMON Vamonos! TECNO has finally unveiled their flagship CAMON 40 Premier 5G at the 2025 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

After showcasing a ton of smart and innovative technology at MWC 2025, TECNO is once again making a splash with the release of their flagship device, focusing widely on its camera prowess.

Measuring just 7.7mm in thickness and weighing 195g, even thinner and lighter than much more expensive rivals such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra, it offers unparalleled design without skimping on functionality. TECNO also managed to include the device with a IP68/IP69 ingress protection and a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for better protection.

Even with that thickness, TECNO managed to fit a powerful triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP OIS Sony LYT-701 Ultra Night camera for its main shooter. It also features a flicker sensor that minimizes artificial light flickering and what TECNO calls Smart Breathing Light 2.0 to brighten up those night shots.

And it doesn’t stop there. TECNO has equipped the CAMON 40 Premier 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 and 12GB of RAM to ensure seamless and efficient performance across the board.

As for the display, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G boasts a 6.67-inch 1260p LTPO AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is a 5100 mAh battery that supports 70W wired fast charging, so you’ll spend less time on the outlet and more time capturing the moment. Additional features include 5G connectivity, NFC support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

We sure are excited to get our hands on TECNO’s flagship devices. We think that it would be popular among tech and photography enthusiasts as TECNO continues to provide innovative devices at an affordable price.
