TECNO has unveiled its CAMON 50 series at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, marking the global debut of its latest smartphone lineup built around AI imaging, smooth displays, and long battery life. The new series expands TECNO’s CAMON tradition with a trio of devices designed to appeal to everyday users and photography enthusiasts alike.
Three Models Launched
The CAMON 50 lineup includes:
- CAMON 50 4G — the base model
- CAMON 50 Pro 4G — a mid-tier option with enhanced performance
- CAMON 50 Ultra 5G — the flagship-leaning version with advanced cameras and connectivity
All three were revealed on the MWC stage, positioning the series as TECNO’s next generation of mobile imaging and AI-driven experiences.
Display and Design
Across the lineup, TECNO equips the phones with large 6.78-inch AMOLED screens featuring 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rates for smooth visuals and responsive interactions. These panels are suited for media consumption, gaming, and everyday use with vibrant colors and fluid motion.
Design cues remain contemporary and comfortable, with slim profiles and premium finishes in multiple colorways to suit diverse tastes.
Performance and Battery
The CAMON 50 and CAMON 50 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset. A balanced mid-range platform that combines adequate performance with power efficiency. The CAMON 50 Ultra steps up to 5G connectivity and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip, giving it an edge in speed and network capabilities.
Battery life is a strong focus across the series. Each phone packs a 6,500 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging support, promising all-day endurance and faster top-ups for busy users.
Camera Capabilities
Imaging performance is a headline feature. The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G boasts:
- A 50 MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
- A 50 MP telephoto shooter with 3× optical zoom
- An 8 MP ultra-wide camera

AI Features and Software
The CAMON 50 series integrates TECNO’s AI suite, including tools for enhanced photos, image-to-video generation, and smart adjustments powered by the brand’s Ela AI assistant. These features aim to simplify creative tasks and everyday communication through intelligent automation and suggestions.
All models run HiOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing system-wide AI optimizations alongside familiar Android functionality.
Durability and Extras
The Ultra variant includes advanced protection with IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, plus rugged build standards for dust and water resistance. A rare combination in this category. Stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint sensors, NFC, and Dolby Atmos support are among the additional features across the series.
