The next-generation TECNO PHANTOM V Flip model has surfaced. It appeared with a new design and better battery.
Fresh from FCC, the alleged TECNO PHANTOM V2 Flip has been spotted. This new flip phone features some major changes worth mentioning.
First, the device has a rectangular back where it houses the rear display and main cameras. That’s a big overhaul from the circular rear display of the previous generation. The larger back display may also let users add more elements, including apps and widgets.
Second, the battery is split with the main cell featuring 3,310 mAh and the secondary cell with 1,180 mAh for a total of 4,490 mAh. This is higher than the 4,000 mAh of the previous model. Plus, the TECNO PHANTOM V2 Flip sports 70 W of turbo charging, an upgrade from the 45 W charging rate of the original model.
The device that leaked on FCC features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB, which may be the only variant for the TECNO PHANTOM V2 Flip.
The device was detected on Geekbench under the AE11 model number as well. This was accompanied by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor, the same CPU of the previous generation.
Although there’s no official announcement yet, the device’s appearance on FCC suggests that the launch is near.
