According to a recent report, Tecno is working on a tablet with a sliding rolable screen designed to play both the smartphone and the tablet role. Unlike most foldable smartphone/tablets, the Tecno Phantom Vision V incorporates sliding mechanics to transform the mid-size tablet almost into a phone size.
Features
The first scene in the publication’s published video of the Tecno Phantom Vision V depicts the phone folded. The exterior display appears to have a curved edge and thin bezels.
The gadget has a tough hinge with a patented design and a titanium alloy housing suitable for aerospace use. It looks like a typical, pocket-friendly smartphone when it is folded. The 11 functional layers that make up the inner display can be expanded to provide a screen area of up to 10.1 inches. If such a product is introduced to the market, the tablet may eventually become obsolete.
The Vision V can be opened up to expose a larger internal display, much to the Galaxy Z Fold4, Xiaomi Mix Fold2, or a vivo X Fold+. However, the Techno Phantom Vision V prototype also has the ability to stretch out its internal display to a full 10.1 inches.
Availability
Since this is just a concept and the name was discovered in the Bluetooth SIG’s database last month, there is a chance that the company would introduce the Tecno Phantom V foldable phone even if there has been no official announcement from the company.
