The love for Tecno will never fade out anytime soon, as their official page claimed that they have sold over 500 units for the first 30 minutes of launch
TECNO’s newest smartphone under the Pova series, the Tecno Pova 4 sold at least 500 units during the first 30 minutes of its official launch on Shopee last October 15th from 12AM to 2AM, talk about midnight sale madness!
What makes this phone such a bang for the buck? For starters, it’s the cheapest smartphone offered with the newest MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a huge 6.82 IPS LCD display in 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage; not to mention that the RAM can be extended up to 5GB more for a total of 13GB. It also has dual DTS stereo speakers and a decent camera setup (50MP + 2MP rear / 8MP front).
While it’s faster than the TECNO POVA 3, the battery capacity took a hit from 7,000mAh to a 6,000mAh on the POVA 4. It’s still bigger by 1,000mAh more than most standard smartphones, and the charging power comes down from 33W, now to 18W. It’s still pretty reasonable for its price, during launch it was offered at ₱6,999 which is ₱1,000 less (₱7,999 original price). But now you can still a discounted price for ₱7,499, which is ₱500 less.
