TECNO just dropped the Pova 7, and spoiler alert: it’s super sulit. In a sea of budget phones trying to look premium, the Pova 7 doesn’t just look the part—it plays it. For a phone that sits comfortably under the midrange tier, it punches way above its weight in every spec that matters.
Let’s start with the Pova 7’s most obvious flex: a 7,000mAh battery. That’s right, this thing is built like a mini power bank. You can game, binge TikToks, doomscroll Twitter (or Threads if you’re spicy), and still have juice by bedtime. It also supports 45W fast charging, so you’re not stuck waiting all day when it finally does run out.
Performance: Gaming Beast on a Budget
The Helio G100 Ultimate chipset might not be Snapdragon-level, but don’t underestimate this bad boy. It handles games like Mobile Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile, and even Genshin Impact. With 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 16GB with virtual RAM), app switching is smooth, and lag? Barely a thing.
Display: Big, Bright, and 120Hz Smooth
You get a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is bonkers at this price. Whether you’re watching Netflix, swiping through IG, or spamming headshots, this panel keeps things buttery. Brightness and color reproduction? Surprisingly good, though it still struggles a bit outdoors.
Cameras: Decent Enough, Honestly
Now let’s keep it real—camera performance isn’t its main flex. But for social-ready photos, the combination of a 108 MP main shooter and 2 MP macro lens does just fine. The front cam? an 8 MP wide lens, passable for selfies and video calls. You won’t win photography awards here, but it’s solid for its class.
Audio + Design: Shockingly Good
TECNO’s Dual Stereo Speakers with DTS? Fire. You’ll actually enjoy blasting music or catching up on YouTube vids without instantly reaching for earphones. As for the design—it looks more expensive than it is. That camera module screams gaming phone vibes, and the back panel is slick without being too flashy.
So… Is It Worth It?
Yes. A hundred times yes.
At a price tag hovering around ₱7,000–₱8,000, the TECNO Pova 7 delivers battery, performance, and smooth display experience that you’d expect from phones twice the cost. Sure, the camera isn’t mind-blowing, and the IPS panel has its limits, but this is a SUPER SULIT device through and through.
📱 TECNO Pova 7 is officially RANKED.
And guess what? It’s sitting proudly in the Super Sulit Tier.
