Built for gaming

The Pova 8 Pro’s P1 graphics chip is designed specifically for gaming. TECNO says supported titles can reach 144fps, while RPG games can run at up to 90fps and FPS and MOBA titles can reach 144fps.

The phone also comes with 4D game vibration and a 5,000mm² vapor chamber for cooling.

TECNO promises two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates, while its Ella AI assistant comes preinstalled.

The “starship” design

The Pova 8 Pro uses TECNO’s “starship” design language, highlighted by a triangular rear camera module and a Mini LED dot-matrix display.

The Mini LED panel can be customized, giving the rear of the phone an extra visual element beyond the camera system.

TECNO also offers a limited Tonino Lamborghini Edition in black. It has the same specifications and storage configurations as the standard model, with the main difference being its exclusive design. TECNO notes that the collaboration has no direct commercial ties to the carmaker itself.

Battery and other features

The phone packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging, plus bypass charging and 10W wired reverse charging.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, infrared remote, NFC, Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers, and Hi-Res Audio support over wired and wireless connections.

The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
