TECNO has officially launched the Pova Curve 2 5G in India, bringing one of the boldest battery claims in the mid-range segment alongside a premium curved display and modern hardware. The phone combines an 8,000 mAh battery, a 6.78-inch 144 Hz curved AMOLED panel, and 5G connectivity in a surprisingly slim package, positioning it as a compelling choice for users who prioritize endurance and smooth visuals.
The Pova Curve 2 features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution, delivering fluid motion and vibrant colors. The panel can reach up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, adding durability to the modern, edge-to-edge design. The device measures 162.7 × 77.2 × 7.42 mm and weighs around 192 g, maintaining a relatively slim and lightweight profile despite its large battery.
Under the hood, the Pova Curve 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, built on a 6 nm process and paired with 8 GB LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options include 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 2.2 configurations, with support for expandable virtual RAM. It runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 on top, offering a range of system-level features and AI-centric tools.
The headline feature is the 8,000 mAh battery, TECNO’s largest yet, combined with 45 W fast charging support over USB-C. The company claims the battery is designed for long usage spans and supports bypass charging technology to help manage heat during power-intensive tasks. Despite the massive cell, the phone maintains a slim 7.42 mm thickness.
Photography setup on the Pova Curve 2 includes a 50 MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2 MP secondary sensor, while the front houses a 13 MP selfie camera. Additional hardware features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, IR blaster, and IP64 dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options cover 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.
Pricing and Availability
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 has been priced competitively in India, starting at ₹27,999 for the 8 GB + 128 GB model and around ₹29,999 (₱19,180*)for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant. It is available in Storm Titanium, Melting Silver, and Mystic Purple colorways, with sales expected through major online and retail channels starting February 2026.
